YOUR TRUCK OR BUS

THIS MUST COME FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY, NOT THE AGENT!

Program T-2: $335.00 - $400.00  (VARIES BY CAMPUS AND DAY OF WEEK)
CLASS A TRACTOR-TRAILER, CLASS B TRUCK, OR CLASS B PASSENGER BUS TEST IN OUR TRUCK OR BUS

Before any training/testing can be done in an IITR vehicle, you ARE FIRST required to do the following:

STEP 1-Take and pass a D.O.T. Physical & obtain a Medical Card, and take a Drug Screen and provide us with NEGATIVE RESULTS:  The drug screen must be done at a clinic designated by IITR (call IITR for a listing of our approved clinics).  The physical will cost between $45.00 and  $75.00 depending upon the clinic in your area and the drug screen will cost between $45.00 and $75.00 depending upon the clinic in your area.

STEP 2-Go to DMV and obtain a CDL Permit:  To obtain a CDL Permit, you are required to go to your States DMV, show your D.O.T. Medical Card and take and pass the General Knowledge written test and ask for a CDL Permit.  Contact your State DMV for the amount they charge for this service.

STEP 3-Go to DMV and obtain any necessary CDL endorsements:  You will need at a minimum the airbrakes and combination written endorsements taken and passed at the DMV.  Additional endorsements are:  Passenger, Doubles/Triples, Tanker-Trailer, HazMat.  Contact your State DMV for the amount they charge for the endorsements you need.

T-2 includes a 1-hour warm-up (with an IITR Instructor although NO instruction is given) required by our insurance company to ensure the driver appears capable to operate our vehicle safely.  The intent of this hour is to provide time for the driver to get used to the vehicle for driving skills, backing skills, and pre-trip inspection.  At the conclusion of the hour, a State Certified Third Party Tester will administer the State tests.

For those choosing this program, we want to make it very clear you must be ready for all of the State Testing on your own to include pre-trip inspection, driving skills, and backing skills.  At the end of the 1 hour warm up it is determined the
IITR Instructor had to give you instruction or feels you did not operate our vehicle safely, you will NOT be allowed to use our vehicle for testing purposes and your money will be forfeited.
